The CLD    Board of Directors

Board of Directors

Membership

Anyone who meets the conditions determined by the Board of Directors may become member of the Brome-Missisquoi Centre local de développement. In addition, nominations of members who wish to sit on one of the organization’s advisory committees may be sent directly to the CLD’s Board of Directors.

Board Members

Members of the CLD’s Board of Directors are appointed by the Brome-Missisquoi MRC’s Council of Mayors. In order to be eligible to be a CLD administrator, a candidate must either be a mayor of one of the MRC’s 21 municipalities or sit on one of the CLD’s five advisory committees.

The CLD’s Board of Directors is composed of 14 people, of whom three are ex-officio, six are mayors, and five are from the business community, the social economy sector, and the tourism, agricultural, and cultural industries. Ex-officio members do not have voting rights on any of the various CLD bodies.

View the makeup of the Brome-Missisquoi CLD’s Board of Directors, as well as the names of the people currently occupying each position.
