«UNE ANNÉE DE PLAISIRS
DANS LA RÉGION VITICOLE DE BROME-MISSISQUOI»

OFFICIAL RULES

1. A participant must :

  • Be a resident of Brome-Missisquoi and 18 years of age or over;
  • Register for the contest on line at : www.brome-missisquoi.ca;
  • Fill in the registration form which contains :
    • His/her name, address, age and email;
    • A text (between 300 and 1000 characters) on the current month theme which will be published in the local newspapers on the 4th Tuesday of each month and listed on the website;
    • Name, adresse, age and email of a relative or friend that lives outside the Brome-Missisquoi region;
  • Accept, in the case he/she should win a prize, that his/her name and his/her text (in whole or in part) and hisé/her photograph be publicised by the promoter.

2. The draws will be carried out in the following mode :  

  • Only one participation per email address will be accepted per month;
  • The monthly draws will take place on the Friday prior to the next month’s publication, following the annexed calendar;
  • The participations of each month are elligible for the Grand Prizes draw;l
  • The Grand Prizes draw will take place on Thursday, July 23rd 2010;
  • All draws will Take place at the Brome-Missisquoi MRC and CLD offices  at 749 Principale Street in Cowansville on dates specified on annexed calendar;
  • The result of the draws will be left to fate and the winners will be determined by a computor program installed for this purpose;
  • The draws will be made in presence of a journalist or representative of the Journal Le Guide and one of the following dignataries : the Brome-Missisquoi MRC Prefect or the Chairman of the Board of Directors plus the Communications Advisor of the Brome-Missisquoi CLD;
  • The winners will be informed of their prize by email, on the day of the draw;
  • The promoters reserve then (10) calendar days to deliver prizes to the winners;
  • Members of the personnel, management and administration of the Brome-Missisquoi CLD and MRC, the elected municipal representatives (mayors) of each of the twenty one (21) municipalities of Brome-Missisquoi and the members of their immediate family (spouses and children living at the same address) are not elligible for this contest.

3. The prizes awarded will be the following (details on the prizes) :

  • Monthly draws –

One (1) participant per month will be awarded :

  • one (1) copy of «Carnets de Brome-Missisquoi»;
  • gift certificates to be exchanged in enterprises in the Wine Region of Brome-Missisquoi;
  • one (1) Brome-Missisquoi promotional kit;
The whole, a total value of four hundred dollars ($400.).

One (1) person (relative or friend of the winner)  will be awarded :

  • one (1) copy of «Carnets de Brome-Missisquoi»;
  • gift certificates to be exchanged in enterprises in the Wine Region of Brome-Missisquoi;
  • one (1) Brome-Missisquoi promotional kit;
The whole, a total value of one hundred dollars ($100.).

  • Final draws –

Consolation prize

One (1) participant will be awarded :

  • one (1) copy of «Carnets de Brome-Missisquoi»;
  • gift certificates to be exchanged in enterprises in the Wine Region of Brome-Missisquoi;
  • one (1) Brome-Missisquoi promotional kit;
The whole, a total value of one thousand dollars ($1,000.).
Grand prize

One (1) participant will be awarded :

  • one (1) copy of «Carnets de Brome-Missisquoi»;
  • gift certificates to be exchanged in enterprises in the Wine Region of Brome-Missisquoi;
  • one (1) Brome-Missisquoi promotional kit;
The whole, a total value of five thousand dollars ($5,000.).

4. General points

  • The participants may, at all times after reception of the first message, indicate if they wish or not to receive future emails from the organizing promoters;
  • The promoter declares that this promotional contes twas organized in good faith and promises to respect all rules mentionned therefore and to award all prizes according to dispositions and modes specified;
  • A disagreement concerning the organization or the management of this promotional contest may be submittes to the «Régie des Alcools, des Courses et des Jeux» for it to be resolved. A disagreement concerning the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the «Régie» for the sole purpose of an intervention to try and resolve it.
