Young promoters fund

The Young Promoters (YP) Fund aims to help young entrepreneurs in the Brome-Missisquoi MRC’s territory to start new businesses by providing them with technical support and financial aid in the form of subsidies.

To be eligible

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of Quebec;
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35;
  • Have experience or training relevant to the project;
  • Commit to working full-time for the company;
  • Provide a 10% down payment ;
  • Be a company targeted by the Brome-Missisquoi CLD’s investment policy.

Type of funding

Creation of a company: Subsidy for 50% of eligible expenses (capital property and/or working capital), up to a maximum of $3,000 to $5,000 per developer, depending on the type of company, with a limit of two developers per company.

Entrepreneur training: Subsidy covering the eligible expenses actually incurred, up to a maximum of $1,000.
