What can you do with your dead leaves this Fall?
- Use them in your composter or give them to a neighbor that composts;

Shred them with your lawn mower and let them compost on the ground, in your garden or your flower beds;

Participate in your municipality’s organized collection and they will be composted;

All of Fall, bring them, free of charge, in bulk, in paper or biodegradable bags, to the compost platform at the Régie, located at 2500 Saint-Joseph Road in Cowansville.

Information for new and potential promoters
As the multi-service counter for entrepreneurship, the Brome-Missisquoi CLD affords great importance to the fact of well informing new and potential promoters who wish to start-up a business.
These future entrepreneurs are invited to attend an information session during which the services of the CLD will be explained to them along with those offered by other development organizations in the region.
These sessions take place at the CLD office, at 749 Principale Street, in Cowansville, on Wednesdays, from 10:30 AM till noon. Once a month, the session is given in English.

Distribution of the 2009 Recycling guide
During the month of September, check your mailbox because the Brome-Missisquoi MRC will distribute its new Practical guide about domestic recycling.
This very practical guide will allow Brome-Missisquoi citizens to learn about the recuperation enterprises that are nearby and to finally obtain the answers on how to dispose of all types of waste. They will also discover tricks and clever ways to make eco-friendly cleaning products, how to compost at home, grasscycling notions and various other parcels of information. We’re talking of a document that may be conserved and kept at hand at all times!

The CinÉ-Cabaret
The regular season of the CinÉ Cabaret presented at the Alec and GÉrard Pelletier Hall is back again with the presentation of the film « J’ai tuÉ ma mÈre » by Xavier Dolan (Quebec 2009, 100 min.)
Thursday August 27th and Friday August 28th at 8 PM. We must remember that the 1st work of this young producer was crowned 3 times at the recent Cannes Festival. Réservations : 450 538-0486.
