An opportunity for your business: a management trainee

The Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu cégep, supported, amongst others by the CLD de Brome?Missisquoi, renews the management trainee program with students from France.

These non remunerated managers are all graduates one of twelve participating Universities.

Starting next Spring your business can benefit from the hands-on contribution of a trainee in marketing, communications, purchase management, quality and industrial logistics, small business management, human resources and accounting.

The increasing popularity of this program in France and the satisfaction of local businesses shows that the number of enterprises involved may be increased. The management training periods last from 8 to 13 weeks and start in February or April depending on the Instituts Universitaires de Technologie (IUT) and the type of study programs.

The businesses that accept a trainee are responsible for on-site supervision as well as supplying the proper equipment for specific tasks (Ex. desk, computer). CEGEP administration professors oversee the trainees progress all through the process. It should be noted that all clerical tasks such as the filling in of legal documents, the welcoming of the trainees and their lodging are taken care of by the CEGEP.

Businesses are invited to show their interest concerning this program as soon as possible since procedures will begin in December. .
