Prizes and recognitions
Recently, several entrepreneurs, businesses, organisations and promoters of Brome-Missisquoi have been honoured or have received important prizes in their field.
Others celebrated an anniversary or a special event. Two enterprises are under the spotlights and should be congratulated :
The Galerie Agur celebrated its 7th anniversary last October 12th. For the occasion, this site of unique concept in the Townships is renovating and extending its premises. Several choices are available this fall:
1) Use them in your composter or give them to a friend practices composting;
2) Shred the leaves with your lawn mower and let them compost on the ground, in the garden or flower beds;
3) Put them out for leave collection organized by your municipality;
4) Bring them in paper or biodegradable bags to the compost platform of the Régie, at 2500, rang Saint-Joseph in Cowansville.

The www.brome-missisquoi.ca website may be consulted to find out which municipalities organize the collection of dead leaves and of which type: door-to-door or drop-off point for voluntary disposal.
